Marc Newson Sets World Auction Record at Phillips April Design Sales

Lockheed Lounge Fetches £2,434,500

In the first auctions the category to take place at 30 Berkeley Square, Phillips April Design Sales totalled £8,641,000 (comfortably in the middle of their estimated total of £6.7-9.9m ) selling 87% by value and 77% by lot.

The exhibition attracted three times as many visitors compared to the previous Design auctions in September 2014.
