Snap-Together Vacation Home by Facit Homes
Interior Architecture and Design
London-based Facit Homes designed this vacation house for a family in Copenhagen. To replace their clients’ rundown holiday lodge, the firm’s Danish partners Frederik Agdrup & Nicholas Bjørndal fabricated wood parts that you can quickly snap together by hand — the house was up in just six weeks.
Melding perfectly into the surrounding forest, “the architecture is defined by a series of angled pitches and covered verandas, making the most of natural light and views through the woods,” says Facit Home’s Managing Director, Bruce Bell.
