"Wonder Cabinets of Europe" a project by Maria Jeglinska & Livia Lauber
The venture started life as a European project; Lauber and Jeglinska invited six designers, whose work they were familiar with, to take part in the inaugural show presented during the London Design Festival 2012.
Each designer was given a wooden cabinet with a brief to showcase their work as well as their working methods. The end result, evoking notions of the sixteenth century cabinets of curiosities, presented the viewer with eight cabinets demonstrating the uniqueness of each designer’s approach.
The cabinets will be on view once again in September for London Design Festival as a part of the Brompton Design District.
