Australian Aboriginal art at the heart of the musée du quai Branly architectural project

On 6th June 2013, the musée du quai Branly (designed by Jean Nouvel) inaugurated a permanent Aboriginal work painted by the artist Lena Nyadbi on the 700 m2 roof terrace of its multimedia library, in the pursuit of its policy of presenting the contemporary arts of Australia, initiated from its opening in 2006.

The Serpentine Gallery in London recently announced that renowned French architect Jean Nouvel will create their 10th annual Serpentine Pavilion this summer. The Pavilion has become an annual event in the London design calendar showcasing work from some of the today’s most significant architects.
