Peter Pichler took the challenge to build a luxury holiday home for a client who lives in a 60’s farmhouse close to Bolzano in Italy.

The challenge was to build a structure which enables guests to fully enjoy the experience of living in the middle of nature while keeping their own independence and privacy. The house floats on a base above the ground – lightness and light seem to be the watchwords of this structure.

Follonico is both serene and sensual, cleverly narrating the simple rural rhythms of Tuscan lifestyle. This once forgotten aged farmhouse, now lovingly preserved, is brimming with a curatorial interior collage of salvage, vintage, worn imperfection and a splash of romantic escapism.

Galleria SWING is pleased to present Frozen #1, the new collection by Korea-born, London-based designer Jungin Lee (Gwang-ju 1985). The project Frozen was presented for the first time in 2012 at the graduation show in MA Product Design at Royal College of Art in London. Since then, it has been developed and shown at Dutch Design Week, Milan Design Week and London Design Festival.
