As with surrealism, design sometimes tells us more than we think.
Armed with subtle irony, and humour, ‘Design with a Smile’ examines the influence surrealism has had on design.
Featuring designs ranging from sofas made from stuffed toys to USB sticks carved from wooden branches, this exhibition presents products filled with titillating statements wrapped with an infectious smile, proving once and for all that the world of design is no stranger to a healthy dose of surreal wit and humour.
