For the second year the London Design Festival has commissioned two leading architects / designers to create an installation for the setting of the Southbank Centre.
This year sees leading architect David Adjaye working with The American Hardwood Export Council to create a dramatic pavilion of American tulipwood.

Villa Foscari La Malcontenta, Italy
To celebrate the 500th anniversary of Andrea Palladio’s birth (1508-2008), La Malcontenta invited Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher to design and build two installations within Villa Foscari La Malcontenta, a building designed by Palladio in 1555.

Inside>OUT Branch Coathoooks
These are branch shaped aluminum coathooks, which reach through the wall, giving the image of a tree growing into the room. They are hand cast and carefully finished, the branch ends are mirror polished. Available in any number and combination of sizes, but they look best in clusters of odd numbers. One branch looks a little lonely. Price depends on number ordered.
